[HANASHIR:2076] Re: Torah chant

I chant directly from the Torah. Are you familiar with the book called a
"tikun?" It has regular Hebrew on one side with the trop symbols and the Torah
letter on the other side. Actually, it is arranged in two column format.
The process is to first become familiar with the words in regular Hebrew. Then
learn the trop and finally learn to do it from the "Torah" side.
I should note that I belong to a traditional conservative syanagogue. - Jules
