If you have ever heard the song "Walking in Memphis", then you have heard Marc
Cohn.  He has (I believe) three albums out (my favorite of which is entitled
"The Rainy Season") and does have a Michael Bolton/Van Morrison thing going.
I'm sure that you can sample his work at CDNow.com or some other music
service.

Also, I have the "Festival of Light" CD, and, as Rachel put it, it is "an
appalling concoction."
