As far as I know, Marc Cohn is a bit of a Michael Bolton sound-alike, not
known for Jewish material especially.  I picked up Festival of Light last
year, mainly because I was interested that a mainstream label (a branch of
Island) was putting out a specifically Jewish CD (and my brother is in that
business and was looking for contacts).  I haven't wasted so much money in
a long time (they charged 16 UK pounds for the priveledge - about $25!)  It
is an appalling concoction.  Apart from 'Rock of Ages' (which I hated)
there is nothing remotely Chanukah-ish about it and a track from the
Klezmatics (and not one of their best at that) is its *only* redeeming
feature.

Now, we all have different tastes in music, so I wouldn't want to put you
off or anything...
