While there have been a number of times when I wish the people on this list
would use a little more restraint, as Joel has aptly suggested, I confess
that some of the spontaneous  repartee on this list gives me a pleasant
memory of times in NFTY.  I have absolutely no tolerance, however, messages
with subtle or not so subtle insults.  That  members have better than
average vocabularies and take the time to choose words intelligently makes
the messages more interesting.  This is the first I have heard of a group of
Jewish musicians being anti-intellectual.   My suggestion  which I hope to
take to heart myself, would be just to take a moment to think before sending
a message.
