Thanks, Neil, this was thoroughly enjoyable and now I'm really hungry for
Chinese!
Mine's not nearly as great, but it's a Chanukah parody to the tune of "Let it
Snow..."
This just might be the best example in the world of putting the emphasis on
the wrong syllable just to fit the tune, but it's all in fun, so, here goes:
Well, the chore for the day is shopping
On the way home I am stopping
There is something that we need so:
Potato, potato, potato!
While the family sits around waiting
The potatoes I'll be grating
And my hands will be hurting so,
Potato, potato, potato!
When I finally get them done
Oh, I love how they smell while they fry
But since I grated an onion,
All the way til dinner I'll cry!
Well, the candles will be glowing
And our presents we'll be showing
We'll be filled up from head to toe
With potato, potato, potato!
