i led the music for tot shabbat in the past and the rabbi i led with used the
same  puppet every time to keep the kids attention and it seemed to go well.
we would normally start with a song like bim bam and then the puppet would do
a lot of the service.  then we would sing barchu and shma  and sometimes tree
of life.  the torah story would be told like a story and ask the kids lots of
questions especially relating the story to their own lives, brothers, sisters,
parents, school, things like that.  but do keep it short (30 minutes or so)
because they cant sit longer then that.  good luck and keep us posted on how
