Emily:  You might want to see if you can find a small paperback Grove
Music Dictionary.  Or there might be one based on the Oxford Music
Dictionary.  Either one will give you the answer on any questions ie
ostinato.  That way you won't have to have either of our resident genius
involved.  Only kidding!  I am truly enjoying all the exchanges.  I look
forward to reading all the stuff.  It's better than TV.  I print  the
strictly music stuff to read to my musical friends and a couple of the
music majors in my frat house.  One of the boys (NOT A MUSIC MAJOR)
plays great rag time piano, but reads at almost no level, and when I
started discussing the substitute tri tone he told me to go away!I'm
looking forward to next year's HN and seeing all the group, whom we now
know much better than when we left camp. See you next summer.
