Mi Ha-ish is also available in print.  where, you ask?  sorry,I don't have
time to walk over to my bookcase and start going thru every book now!!!  If I
find it soon, I'll send another post.
and I agree with Judy.  The less than a handfull of Jewish music publishing
companies are struggling as it is because of the small market and because so
many people wrongly photocopy the music.  It's almost as horrible as copying
tapes and cds!  People who do this should be severely punished - I'm totally
serious about this.  If I find a bootleg copy of my album in your house, God
help you....
of course, if you want to sing one of the songs into a tape recorder for
someone else to learn it... b'vakasha!...as long as my name is also recorded
and written on the label with the copyright symbol.  same for printed
songbooks and songsheets... original lyrics should always be credited.  Altho
you are supposed to get permission to reprint copyrighted lyrics...I think
most of us don't really care as long as our name and the symbol are there... 

I think this notation that some of you are using(I don't have the patience) is
fine if you're suggesting  "use the oseh shalom that goes like this:  "and
give a few measures of it)"  or if the music is not printed anywhere or if it
is your own.  Otherwise I agree with Judy that we should purchase music(or
borrow it from a library) or buy the recordings.  Or let's trade phone numbers
and if someone needs a quick melody, they can call and say "how does that song
go?".
