For Sale - Life

My dear friends,

I miss you all very much.

I am writing today to sell you a tape. Please read this entire message as
this is not an ordinary tape and, out of respect for the nature of this list,
I will only post this once.

The name of the tape is "Kolot Chayim" - voices of life, and features two- to
four-year-olds at the Jennifer Rosen Meade Preschool of Temple de Hirsch Sinai
here in Bellevue, Washington, singing some of their favorite tunes. The tape
is to benefit the "Gina Fund."

Gina Dichter is a young mother of two of the preschoolers. She has been
diagnosed with Pulmonary Lymphangioleiomyomatosis, also known as "LAM." LAM,
which is a very rare disease found only in women, causes the growth of muscle
cells in and around the lungs, causing obstruction of airways, blood vessels,
and lymph vessels. Gina finds it a struggle to live each day and, as a
result, requires a double lung transplant for any hope.

The Gina Fund is attempting to help Gina and the Dichter family by providing
support and searching for donors. "Kolot Chayim" was formed by the
preschoolers as a way to raise funds. The cassette contains about thirty
minutes of music: Debbie Friedman's Latke Song, Birchot Havdalah, and Seder
Table, Doug Cotler's Thank You God, as well as eleven other kid songs,
including two originals, all appear on the cassette. The songs are short, to
take advantage of the preschool attention span, but are worthwhile tools for
us as well as providing for the bigger issue. In between the songs, the
preschoolers share their thoughts on the music.

You may purchase the cassettes for $20. This price includes return postage
and is fully tax deductible. Please make checks out to "Temple de Hirsch
Sinai." Checks made out to the "Gina Fund" are not tax deductible but will be
accepted. All monies go to the Gina Fund--Temple does not take any funds off
the top.

Send checks, along with your return address to:
