"Mini HNs" may be the wrong words

Hi Everyone,
I too am quite rejuvinated from the HN experiece. Since last attending the
second HN so long ago I did feel a little overwhelmed and resistant to
meeting 90+ people as compared with 50. I was just getting warmed up to
some and it was time to go. Anyway, it was definitly worth the experience.
Now I know what to expect.

I agree with most praises and complaints so I will direct my comments to
Adrian's warning. As Joanna Selznick pointed out, we in the SF Bay Area
have started a songleader's collective which is not a mini HN but an
ongoing support and sharing session whereby all the members needs were
originally addressed in a planning meeting. What culminated was an ongoing
group that shares everything from gigs to comraderie. I think that HN is a
great spiritual uplift but, as songleaders, lay cantors, etc. we are
usually alone in what we do and to have a group that supports you through
the triumphs, trials and tribulations that we incur all year long is
essential.
I'm assuming that some of you really are isolated and may not have many
songleaders, etc. in your area. Maybe you could put together regional
collectives that could meet every 2 months or so. I highly reccomend it!

Peace,
Jonathan Ferris
I like the p.m.chatroom idea too. I've already subscribed. (as Jonnyfay)
But I would prefer a late EST time like (dare I say) Midnight.
