Unfortunately, we cannot make the tapes available to people who do not
attend the workshop-we have the artists's permissions to make these
recordings for personal educational use by the participants only.In fact,
those who buy the tapes (and I use the term "buy" loosely because I ALWAYS
lose money on the deal) are not permitted to make copies. The tapes are NOT
formally sanctioned by OSRUI. In addition, sometimes the artists ask us to
specifically not include some songs on the tape.

The tapes are learning/reminder/remembrances for participants and are likely
to remain so for the foreseeable future.

Hope you will be able to join us next summer.

Hi everyone,

I have been quietly reading the list for a few months now and appreciate all
the great info and enthusiasm. I am a song leader for Temple Ohav Shalom in
Allison Park (sub of Pittsburgh) PA. I was hoping to go to Hava NaShira, but
family obligations require me to stay home this year. I am planning to go in
1999 though! I've been reading about the tape or not to tape discussion.
Adrian -- will your tapes be available to folks who were not able to go? Of
course I would expect to pay for them.
