Hey Gang,
I've got a gig in a week and a half to lead an after-lunch song session
for 100 Jewish senior citizens between the ages of 60 and 90. I want to
sing as many songs they know as possible, and I don't have much time to
learn songs I don't know. With kids, I think I have developed a pretty
keen sense of which songs will generate instant sing-a-long, but I just
don't have the experience with the older generations...
Does anyone have any suggestions of which songs that are in the chordster
and/or manginot I could use to get the grandparents singin'?
I'm already planning on singing Hava Nagila and Tumbalalaika, which worked
for 'em last time!
