Erik, I am confused. I thought that Islam is also monotheistic, like
Judaism, and prays to the same Divine Being. G-d has many names, but there is
only One.
Christians do not believe this...they believe that JC was G-d...the trinity,
actually. This is NOT monotheism.
I do not pray to Allah...but my study of Jews who lived in Moslem countries,
especially Rambam and Bachya Ibn Paquda, shows that they believed they were
praying to the same G-d as the Moslems, albeit with different names and
certainly different prayers.
Wouldn't the same logic apply to other faiths who followed the one G-d? The
Torah was given to us to be an "or lagoyim".
Please correct me on this.
