That would be great. Or, if you made every student teach a new song. You
could offer to play guitar for them OR provide chords and let them play guitar
(if they already knew how). or try and dig up a piano and sheet music and let
them play that. Provide tapes for them to learn the songs from. Assign one
person per unit. We did this in Songleading class at kutz, but slightly
differently and for other reasons. I did, however, learn a lot of new cool
songs from friends. It was a great time. Try this. Or, do what the
songleader at my temple has done (namely myself or current NFTY Pres. Matt
Kunofsky) and teach a guitar class during a non class time which is optional.
Teach how to play guitar through Jewish music. It works.
