Re: Hava Nashira conference

Echoing all those who are singing the praises of Hava Nashira (poor pun
intended). Last year was my first one and it was an amazing experience,
especially coming from the UK where there is *nothing* like the kind of
davenning experience I had going on (except in very small doses at some of
the small scale camps we have here and in the Renewal chavurah that I
belong to and lead davenning in from time to time).

With regard to some of Janeen's thoughts on the different people who were
there, I learnt so much from everyone, although my work is almost entirely
with adults in workshop settings and synagogue communities. In terms of
skills sharing, it was great to be mixed up; I guess there might be some
advantages re: repertoire in being in slightly more focused tracks or
sessions.

I'm sure it's going to be wonderful whatever the organisers decide, and I
really hope I'll be able to be there again.

Love to all,

Rachel Gurevitz
