Quite an amusing story, if you can decipher the
dialect. But Messiah is a thrilling piece to perform.
I sang in it several years back with the Montreal
Symphony Orchestra at the Notre Dame Cathedral. There
was one uninvited guest at the concert: a bat was
flying around the rafters of Notre Dame during the
performance. Quite distracting for all of us, to say
the least.
