[HANASHIR:16687] RE: Sim Shalom

Wow, Rachelle, didn't know if anyone knew that but me! I learned it at
caje at least 12 years ago and it was taught by Margie & Ilene. Maybe
Judy Ginsburg has a clue about the song ??? Don't know where it
originated only that the kids love it! (And so do I)

Subject: [HANASHIR:16685] Sim Shalom

Does anyone know the origins of the Sim Shalom that starts "Sim, sim,
sim
shalom, sim shalom tova uv'racha-a-a-a-h". It has a punchy, lively beat
and
sounds Chassidic but I'm unsure if it is or is not in the public domain
or
whether there is a composer.
Thanks,
