[HANASHIR:16237] Re: ,T]

Yes, it goes like this
Once upon a time we had a temple
Where every Jew would pray three times a year
there we worshipped God in our tradition
Till suddenly a tyrant did appear.
Then (not sure what is here) Mattathias told us
Whoever is for God come join our band
Led by Judah and his faithful brothers
We drove the tyrant from our holy land
        8 days of Chanukah (2)
        We celebrate the festival oflight
        8 days of Chanukah (2)
Let's keep the flame forever shining bright.

There are more verses but that's the only one I remember, but I could send
the whole thing tomorrow if you want.

I can't believe it didn't occur to me 'til now to ask this question of this
list: I used to have a tape of a woman who sang Chanukah songs for kids. I
can't find the tape, and I can't remember her name. It had some good things
on it, including a Chanukah song to the tune of "Those Were The Days."
(Eight Days of Chanukah....) Does this ring a bell with anyone?

-Thanks, and
Shabbat Shalom,
Amy
