[HANASHIR:16212] Re: need songs for healing service

In addition to the often suggested (and rightly so) Debbie Friedman healing CD
(someone here will remember the name), I would suggest a particular setting of
the Bar'chu which uses the following words:

Bar'chu, dear One; Sh'chinah, holy Name
When I call on the Light of my Soul, I come home.

I find this text and its melody quite soothing and in some way therapeutic.
According to my resource, this is by Lev Friedman, but I don't know whether
that refers to the melody or the text. Let me know if you'd like the melody
and I'll be happy to give you a call to sing it. I can also point you to a few
people who know the chords.

Best of luck,
Jennifer
