[HANASHIR:16197] Re: need songs for healing service

Well this really doesn't have to do with a healing service, but I must
say, that there is a song that Raquel Pomerantz Gershon wrote called,
"Avinu Sh'bashamayim," which is the "prayer for the State of Israel."
Folks - I had 26 of my middle school kids sing this tonight at a JFS
150th anniversary event. We ended the Chanukah program with this and
there wasn't a dry eye in the house. Talk about a beautiful melody -
Raquel - are you out there? People need to get sheet music for this.
I transcribed it but am not sure if it's published. Anyway - a gorgeous
piece for older kids or adults. Just beautiful. It's on her CD about
songs of Jerusalem. And it's perfect for just about ANY event!
