Hi Y'all - Does anyone know where I can purchase a CD of Rami
Kleinstein? Israel Exchange doesn't carry his stuff! (But I got a
gorgeous Shlomo Artzi record!) Thanks!

Subject: [HANASHIR:16034] Re: Songs to Teach Prophets
Adrian,
at our 2nd grade chagigat hatanach, we do songs about Yehoshua, Shimshon
and David. For Yehoshua, we have a song "tipli bishvili" that one of
our teachers wrote to the melody of the song "kisses for me" and we do
"joshua fought the battle at jericho" - our only English song. For
Shimson we do "haperach b'gani" which is really just an Israeli/Yemenite
love song (in this case between Samson and Delilah) and "ish hayah
b'yisrael - shimshon sh'mo". For David we do "v'David Y'feh Einayim"
and Carlebach's "David Melech Yisrael". For intro we sing "asher
bachar" (bin'vi-im tovim...) which I wrote the melody for and for
conclusion we sing "etz chaim hi" - the one with the shalom shalom and
clapping - but only the hebrew part. Feel free to call me for any of
the melodies if you're interested and if you have any additional songs
about those three men specifically, or any other general songs about
Nevi-im, I would love to have them as well!
thanks,
Raquel Gershon
