[HANASHIR:15728] Boston Area Concerts and Music for Choir

For those of you in the Boston area, I have 2 concerts to alert you to.  And 
for those not in the Boston area, but are looking for some good volunteer choir 
music, see 2nd concert info below...

First, On Sunday, November 16th, at 2:00 PM, Vocolot will be performing at a 
ground breaking benefit concert for Mayyim Hayyim (a new community mikveh) at 
Temple Reyim in Newton, MA.  For more information see

Secondly, on Sunday, November 23rd, at 4:00 PM, Congregation Beth El, Sudbury, 
MA will be hosting the Boston Premiere of "Your Bountiful Light - New Music for 
Jewish Liturgy", composed by Norma Brooks and arranged by Cantor Dr. Ramon 
Tasat and Cantor Natasha Hirschhorn.  As a member of the choir that will be 
singing, I can tell you we have had a great time learning this music!  It is a 
nice mix of challenge and fun.  For those of you who have volunteer choirs, 
there are some great arrangements for you in this collection!!  At the concert 
we will be honored to have Norma and the 2 arrangers, plus a few of the choir 
who performed on the CD singing with us, as well as Lorel Zar-Kessler, our 
wonderful Cantor at Beth El.  If you'd like to come, send me an e-mail at
