[HANASHIR:15456] Re: Of Larynxgitis (chicken soup etc)



I've found that oodles-of-noodles and other japanese noodle soups, with 
their high salt content, seem to act like a directly applied poultice to 
the throat.  Cook them with 1.5 cups water or less and then slurp those 
salty noodles.

This is the same idea as the sore throat cure, where you gargle with hot 
salt water.  But the noodles draw out the time that the salt is passing by 
the throat.

I don't know if it will work for laryngitis, but I swear by it for a sore 
throat.  Worst case, you've had a yummy lunch.
