Dear Elaine and all,

I am almost fully recovered, except that in the hospital I received 
intubation which caused something called an intubation granuloma...in 
practical terms this means I am not allowed to sing for a while...so, I am, 
like some of our other friends, sitting these high holidays out vocally...

Thank you so much for asking and for all of the caring, prayers and love 
expressed in the hanashir network...
