[HANASHIR:15449] Re: Of Larynxgitis

prednisone is not a drug to be taken lightly ... it definitely has it's
side effects. My husband is a pediatric oncologist and is well-versed
in the use of prednisone. I suggest getting a steroidal inhaler (like
asthmatics use) ... it goes straight to the source of the problem
without the systemic delivery.

by the way ... about 13 years ago I had to have both my vocal chords
operated on ... not great for a singer ... but it worked ... I've been
great ever since.

Can you get prednisone by injection? I'm on lots of meds for arthritis
and am certain it would be a bad idea to ingest that as well. (I know,
ask my ENT person.) Jackie G
