Yes, SONY, inventor of the ATRACS format that minidiscs
use, really blew it on this issue. There are articles
all over the web lamenting SONY's lame handling of this
issue. Visit www.minidisc.org for links to FAQs and
articles ocnerning this.

Still, MDs are a great recording media.
