Hi Beau!

We use Mac as well as PC. On the Mac, we use Sound Studio to record from MD 
or cassette to the computer. It converts the files to aiff files that are 
reproduced with almost no loss of sound quality on a CD. All you need is a 
patch 
cord to go from the earphone jack on your MD to the microphone jack on the Mac, 
enough hard drive space,  and the software.
