[HANASHIR:14498] RE: FW: HN 2003

I actually printed this poem out to put on my office wall, not something I
ordinarily do. Thanks David, for your gift of poetry.

From David Harris, on Hava Nashira 2003:
RENEWAL

Driving through the gate
Feeling the spirit of a familiar place
Entering a world of warmth and peace
Serenity, friendship, and music fill the air

Hands bonding in greeting
With old friends and those yet to be known
Inviting smiles and words of comfort
The serenity of a home away from home

The sound of the wind rustling the leaves
Birds singing and footsteps in the grass
And the beautiful silence
Of a place so far from the drone of daily life

Sharing our stories of our times apart
While living new chapters each day
Building a community of one voice
To be shared throughout the world

Spirits soar as our time together moves forward
Witness to the creation of a Kehilah Kedoshah
So many flavors of life brought together as one
Connecting our souls and recreating our reality

The time to part draws near
As we rejoice in our newfound love for life
Parting the company of our friends
To return and rebuild once again next year
