Ah, Jeff, too much time in gloomy Chicago and now gloomy New England.  My 
apartment at the south of Denver showed me the full glory of the front range of 
the Rockies from my 3rd floor north-facing deck and let me tell you about 
purple mountains!  The author of God Bless America wrote it from atop Pike's 
Peak so I bet she saw a few herself.

Cheers for a snatch of sunshine this Memorial Day weekend here in the clouded 
over northeast! May we soon see spacious skies!
