PDF's are a great way to share files which are universally readable 
on any platform (as long as you download a free PDF viewer such as 
Adobe Acrobat, or are fortunate enough to use a Mac which has PDF 
creation and readability built into Mac OS X)...but as Ethan 
mentioned in a previous message, when creating the PDF, there is an 
option to embed fonts...this will allow anyone on any platform to 
open and view these files correctly.
