There is a difference between encouragement and support. Many songleaders
simply cannot afford to attend a summer workshop like Hava Nashira, either
because of the cost or the distance or both. They live in areas with smaller
Jewish communities, where financial support is slim to none.
(Someday I would LOVE to attend Hava Nashira. Sadly, this is not the year.)
I would be interested in hearing more about the possibilities of regional
events, perhaps spaced throughout the year, so that more songleaders/Ba'alei
Tefillot could attend and share ideas. What has been done in this area, and
have other movements (JRF for example) shown an interest in helping to create
something like this?

Thanks much --Beth Hamon
