[HANASHIR:13724] RE: New tech for songleaders?

Hello!

I guess I just don't really understand how the new technology would work. I
would love to be able to share my music on-line, and the only reason that I
haven't is that I don't know how to GET it on-line. Which...in all
honesty...is rather embarassing. Oh well.

In theory, I like the idea of having more music databases to access on-line.
In terms of the copyright laws...I know very little on this subject, and
so I don't know how those laws would affect the functionality of the
database.

Could somebody please let me (and maybe the rest of the listserve as at
least I'm hoping that I'm not the only technologically behind music educator
out there!) more specifically how this new technology would work, and how we
would access it?

Thank you so much. I feel very thankful to be connected to such a talented
and educated group of musicians.

~smile always~
