I'd suggest "Hob Ich a Por Oksn" (I Have a Pair of Oxen), "Bulbe" -or
Zuntig Bulbe (Sunday - Potatoes), "A Geneyve" (A Robbery), "Sha, Shtil, Macht
Nisht Kein Gerider" (Be Quiet - Make No Commotion!), "Kum Aher Du Filozof"
(Come Here, You Philosopher), "Kinder Mir Hobn Simchas Toyre!" (Children, We
Have Simchat Torah!), "Chanuka, O Chanuka (same but verses in Yiddish).
The first five are funny and somewhat repetitious and, thus, easy to
learn. They can be found in Ruth Rubin's classic "A Treasury of Jewish
Folksong".
The little "Jewish Center Songster", put out for years by the National
Jewish Welfare Board in NYC also has "Un Az Der Rebbe Est", and "Der Rebbe
Elimelech" among others. These, too, children find fun and easy to learn.
