Yossi and Nissim of the Parvarim were friends and colleagues --- I always 
loved their harmonies. Susan and I were their female counterparts in terms of 
close harmonies and unique blend..That's why Kol Yisrael teamed us up with 
the Dudaim.

And if anyone is interested, Hed Arzi just released a double-box Cd set of 
Susan & Fran and the Dudaim - from 1972 and 73 vintage. It is a classic now 
in israel. We also performed with the Parvarim and all of the other duos, 
trios etc over the years. 
Matti Caspi does back-up vocals on several of the songs as well as keyboard 
on a song by Caspi & Shlomo Gronich, and a young Yaron Gershofsky - of 
Manhattan Transfer and more recently, Debbie fame, did his first arrangement 
of one of the folk tunes.
Also included on the roster is the young bass player, Oliarchik who went on 
to POOGIE fame. 

I beleieve it is available from Sisu who imports Hed-Arzi's recordings. There 
is a big push for nostalgia now - apolitical, sweet music from a gentler time.
I only have my one token artist copy (and spilled tea all over the cover) but 
it is a remarkable  presentation - with the Cds looking like vinyl. 

Don't mean to toot my own horn - but it's an honor to still be part of the 
Israeli music scene.
