I have been using Ernie Ball thumb picks (they come in two sizes, med and
lg) for a very long time and I love them.  They are very thin like a flat
pick for strumming but stay on your thumb for easier finger picking.   Most
music stores can order them.  That said, I've noticed a variation in the
quality over the years, probably depending on which factory in the far east
makes them, so best to try 'em before you buy 'em.
