Hi,
    No, no, you misunderstood.  Service #6 exists in the current Gates of
Prayer siddur.  I have always felt ( personally) that it is a ridiculous
service. The new siddur has nothing like that, believe me.  In fact, I have
heard one person call it conservative-light.  Service #6 was considered the
"equivocal" service, that is any reference to theology (i.e.G-d) was omitted
or couched in such a way as to allow for questioning in the English
translations.  The Hebrew was not changed, just the English translations.
If you have access to a Gates of Prayer look at p. 204-218.
