Dan Nichols' "Chazak" is a wonderful song. I did an MLK concert at a church
last year and opened with it.
Doug Cotler's "Listen" is beautiful. You can leave off the Shemah part if
necessary. Also, Cotler's "T'filat Haderech" is a nice closer.
"Peace Is" by Fred Small is appropriate to the climate.
There is a song called "Seeds" sung by Kathy Matea and written
by Pat Alger and Ralph Murphy. It's a beautiful song.
Ruth Pelham has a terrific "zipper" song called "Turning of the World." It's
hard to find, but she has a web site.
Hope this helps.
