[HANASHIR:12738] thinking ahead to summer

Shalom all,
The leaves are barely off the trees here in the D.C. metro area and I'm
looking ahead to summer.
    I'm a music teacher/song leader/student cantor, desiring guidance for
overnight camp employment. I'm considering looking into being a song
leader/cantor for a summer camp next summer.
Do I put my resume on some list? Contact camps individually?
Those of you who are experienced in this area:
Do you charge by hours working? Or, are you paid per session??
Do you do more than music??
Into this would be my to be 10-year-old (camper) son who is very
athletically inclined.
Toughest part may be leaving husband/father for 4 weeks, but for air and
greenery, and no commuting, to share and inspire with Jewish music might be
right. I, myself, went for two weeks to a Camp Lakeland near Buffalo, New
York (when was that?? hmmm, in about 1970), when I was 12 years old. Never
returned, but the outdoors is my haven.
I am inclined to the Northeast.
Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you very much.
A good Thanksgiving to all of you and joy in Chanukah preparations at the
same time!
    Shalom,
    Andrea Foster, Ph.D., etc.
