[HANASHIR:12665] Re: [GTM:416] Aleynu



I checked Idelsohn (Jewish Music and Thesaurus Vol. 8/9/10) and found only 
information about the HHD Aleinu melody.  There may be a reason he didn't 
comment about it, don't know.  Nulman's The Encyclopedia of Jewish Prayer 
details the history of the prayer, but doesn't mention the musical aspect.  
Levine's Synagogue Song in America doesn't index the examples, but a quick 
look didn't turn up Aleinu...
