[HANASHIR:12147] Re: What is "Great Music"?



Well, just because it's easily accessible doesn't mean it's NOT great.  
Certainly a few of those songs will stand the test of time, but most will 
not.  

And, most of the repertoire of Naumbourg, Lewandowsky, etc. have already 
become museum pieces to be brought out mostly at Cantors' Concerts as very 
few synagogues have the hardware (organ, etc.), budget, and congregational 
support required to use these pieces during services.
