[HANASHIR:12030] A question about authorship

Thinking aheda here, it's true...

I want to include a gentle bluegrass (instrumental) version of Maoz Tzur on 
my upcoming CD. Since it will be the only thing I did NOT compose I want to 
make sure I do this right. All references I've found so far to the composer 
say, "traditional". In that case, do I need to ask anyone''s permission to 
include it on my recording? Or do I just play my heart out and let the tape 
roll?
