I have been sitting here in a pensive mood today waiting to leave for Shabbat 
services.  Tonight we have a local group called Jewish Jammin'-  Made up of 3 
Cantorial soloists and some either instrumentalists.  They are really really 
good.

While driving today I have been listening to their experimental tape as well as 
Carol Boyd Leon's music, Karen Daniels tape and a few other entertainers who 
are really wonderful, but not as well known as Craig, Debbie, Cantor Wally and 
Doug Cotler.  Rick Rude (Sp)?? someone who I don't know I understand is coming 
up to the  "big leagues" now.  He is quite good.  

I for one would like to hear more about some of those who I don't know.  
Perhaps they can put one or two of their songs on the internet.  Perhaps a CD 
can be made of some of each one's songs so many can be on 1 CD.

Does anyone have any thoughts?

for the record, Karen Daniel will be coming to Las Vegas, probably in March...  
also have some klezmer musicians doing a service..

This year we are dedicating to the arts...

Just some pre shabbat ramblings.

By the way, This is a great place to be when one needs help musically.
