Hi All,

My suggestion would be to use your hardshell case for the trip and also get a 
soft, inexpensive backpack case that you can fold into a suitcase and then 
use when you get to your destination.  I would rather check through a larger 
or extra suitcase or totebag with the soft guitar case inside than risk 
damage to my Martin!  I would even consider a small folding luggage cart to 
transport the hardshell through the airport if it's too heavy to carry around 
(which it is for me).
