[HANASHIR:11556] CD Re-Release: Tov Lanu Lashir!

Hey Hava Nashira List,

It has been just over three years since the big launch of "Shir L'Yom
Chadash", the Camp Swig / Camp Newman CD that I had the privilege of
working on, and about two years since the release of "Shir Milibeinu", Camp
Swig's second recording (originally released LP in 1984)...

Now I am excited to share that the 1975 Camp Swig classic "Tov Lanu Lashir"
has just been re-released on CD, completing the three-CD series of Camp
Swig music through the decades! For those who haven't heard these
recordings, they include 21 tracks of great tunes being sung by campers and
their star-studded music staff back in 1975 which included Debbie Friedman,
Debbie Pinto (still songleading in CA), Reuven Firestone (now an HUC Prof
in LA), Neil Comess Daniels (now a songleading Rabbi in Santa Monica, CA),
Jason Gwasdoff (now a songleading Rabbi in Stockton, CA), and others!

Anyhow, I think this is a really great recording to add to your collection,
and it includes some fun melodies that aren't being sung much these days
but should be! The other good reason to pick it up is that all proceeds go
back into the music program at UAHC Camps Swig and Newman. Here's the link
to learn, listen, and get a copy of this CD, and the others in the series
(the complete box set now available too):
