As I stated in an earlier message, as list-owner I chose to step back
and allow some discussion of the current crisis in Israel until such
time as I felt it necessary to intervene.

That time has come. A significant number of list subscribers have
expressed their concerns to me. So I would ask that all future
discussion that isn't related to our main focus, the use of and users of
music in the transmission of Jewish heritage, culture, knowledge,
history, etc. be taken off list or to other forums on the net designated
for political discussions.

All of us are hurt and pained by what is happening in Israel. Let's
focus our efforts here  on what we, as the Jewish music community, can
do about it with the tools available to us.
