It's interesting that this topic has come up recently on Temple Chat, which is a
chat room for reform synagogue board members.  I'd like to pass along the
following suggestion.  Perhaps some kind of babysitting situation could be set 
up
during services as a Mitzvah project with the Temple High School Youth Group.
This can be set up as an activity for the very young children with snacks, arts
and crafts and even a mini service just for them.  It would run concurrently 
with
the regualr service, and, perhaps the kids could come back to the main sanctuary
for a final blessing and song at the end of the regular service. Good luck.
