Great creativity!
I'll try to use this song for my Kindergartners and 1st graders. They
can learn about the details when they are a little bit older. The best
advice I received was from a teacher who told me that we don't have to
teach our students everything about a subject, we just have to make sure
that we don't teach them something that they will have to unlearn later.
The only issue I have with your new version is the last verse. While I
love the inclusion of Godliness in all that we do, it's interesting that
God is never mentioned in the scroll of Esther. Something to ponder.
BTW while I'm posting, I'd like to reccomend Rabbi Joe Black's 'The True
Story of Purim' as a fun song to sing with children and adults. It can
be found on his 'Alef-Bet Boogie' album.
An early chag sameach to all.
