I am pleased to announce this wonderful news one of our own list
members, Carol Boyd Leon. Carol entered a contest to write a new Alma
Mater for George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Today, at the
George Mason University Homecoming game, the new Alma Mater, "Patriots'
Dreams" by Carol Boyd Leon, was premiered by the local a capella group
"Take Note," (with choral arrangement by your humble list-owner.) Having
been chosen as the Alma Mater for GMU, this song is likely to have a
long and enduring life. Our congratulations to Carol for a job well
done.
