Can't say enough good things about this Tree Song. That is why I had to
include it as an "Amazing Song". It is one of those rare songs that works
with all ages. Little children love it. Teenagers go nuts over it! In
fact, they are the ones I call up to shake the fruit shakers and model trees
for the others. They have a blast. It is one of the few songs I will
attempt with teens (as I tend to prefer the safety of the early childhood
set). But if you "ham" it up and have a good time -- this song is the best.
It teaches not only the word "Tu Bish'vat" but also something about the
holiday in a fun, fun way. If you must also include music learning such as
in a dayschool setting, the song is great for teaching rhythm, rests, and
listening skills as well
Thanks, Josh!!!
Judy :)
