I agree that this might be a good list topic.

Several people have responded to me privately, mostly wanting to know more 
details.

I think some of the discussion will contain some good, general information. 
And some of it will be based on my, or other artists looking to do the same, 
specific plans. Much of making a go in the recording industry, or any arts 
related field, is networking, making contacts. 

I'll be happy to share any information that may be useful to others, but, 
obviously, I shouldn't think it appropriate to share specific and private 
negotiations with the list.

Judy Ginsburg, business person extraordinaire, sent me some extremely useful 
suggestions which I suggest she share with the list. Or I will share them, 
with her permission.

Looking forward to a lively and informative list discussion.
